William Collingwood _^(1798-1871) & Alice Maria Hayward _^(tbc-1837)

William Collingwood was born on 19 November 1798, the son of Carlton Collingwood and Elizabeth Katen; he was baptised at St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney, on 12 May 1799.

William married Alice Maria Haywood on 18 August 1822 at Wanstead. Alice Maria Collingwood, aged 37 years, was buried at St Mary Stratford Bow on 22 July 1837.

William married Mary Ann Kilby  in December 1841 at St Mary, Stratford Bow. Mary Ann died aged 39 29 August 1848

in the 1851 census William was listed as living at 2 Coborn Road, East Cottage, St Mary Stratford le Bow, and described as assistant accountant to the Hon East India Company.

William was listed as the assistant of the Accounts’ Branch of the East India Company (1857).

William died on 10 September 1871 and was his address was given as formerly of East India House but late of East Cottage, Coburn Road, Bow.
